Rules
Game rules
Footgolf is played with soccer balls size no. 5, each player plays with one marked ball to distinguish it from the opponent. In the group - flight, there are max. 4 players, unless otherwise specified by the tournament organizer. The ball is kicked from the marked tee towards the hole. The player who gets the ball into the hole with the fewest kicks wins.
Kicks can only be made with the following parts of the foot:
- inner side
- outer side
- tip of the foot
- kicking with the heel
- direct ball of the foot
Each contact with the ball counts as one kick. Unplayable ball, e.g. under a tree or in water, is taken no closer to the hole and the player is awarded one penalty kick.
Appropriate clothing for footgolf:
- Head - golf cap or cap.
- Body - T-shirt with collar (polo shirt), possibly a sweater, rain jacket. Women also wear a T-shirt with a collar.
- Pants - linen shorts with pockets, or linen long pants, women can also wear a skirt.
- Legs - classic socks, high knee socks or socks are mandatory at tournaments.
- Shoes - tennis shoes, indoor tennis shoes, or turf shoes, it is not allowed to wear soccer cleats or shoes with large cleats.
It is important to follow golf etiquette on the course and players:
- they will not be noisy
- they will not leave behind garbage, empty bottles, etc. (there are also trash cans distributed throughout the campus)
- they will fully respect the pace of the golf flights in front of them
- they will not in any way interfere with the game of the playing golfers with their behavior
- the game will not damage low-cut grass areas (Tee, greens, fairways)
- they will fully respect the instructions and orders of the Field Marshal or Reception Manager
- they will not repeat already played balls, holes, lanes or change the order of playing lanes during play
- they will maintain a proper pace of play and not delay golfers
- observe the number of players in the flute, max. 4 people during training
- will not damage, or move golf equipment
- the player has the right to take an entourage with him (max. 2 people, which he reports to the reception, while guaranteeing that the members of the entourage will not be involved in the game in any way and will respect all the rules of operation of the golf area, the player's entourage must, however, comply with all the provisions stated in at this point and especially regarding the prescribed clothing
- no animals will be allowed on the course during tournaments organized by the SFGA
WARNING! If these instructions are not followed and there is a repeated violation of the rules by a specific player / players, the club management can ban them from entering the golf / footgolf course, or even expel them from the SFGA!
